Social media addiction is called social validation looping. The more you post, the more you look at to see how your posts are reacted to and then the more you post. You're paying with the one thing you can't get more of, and that has a limit, which is your time. And because its variable reinforcement, essentially the inter net becomes the world's largest slot machine. Here's our first insight, this is not our fault. It's not angela's fault. We are out gunned right now,. as we keep being reminded every headline and congressional hearing thousands of very smart people in the world are spending all day every day designing ways to capture and recapture our attention.
