Smith's Production of the Beatles
Smith's production of the group would prove controversial. Some fans thought that he did too much to curtail their more experimental side. The Piper at the Gates of Dawn is a collection of whimsical songs by Barrett infused with imagery from late Victorian and Edwardian books.
