The Idea of Dropping a Pinball Through an Organization
When mapping an organization, you have this metaphor about thinking of it as a game of pinball. The notion of dropping a pinball through an organization is often like, let's follow a process of how work gets done. I actually think the opposite might be true. Some of these org problems might make for good pin bacameotey. So we put up an image of one that has come from some work that and with the teams that both matt and i have worked with. It was a disaster relief organization. And so this lovely, like pimball metaphor is just how our team was beginning to figure out, well, whats going to happen there?
