Can the Brooklyn Nets Reasonably Win the Eastern Conference?

Brooklyn Nets have the best point differential in the NBA right now. There's no reason to rule them out, but they haven't played an extremely easy schedule. It feels to me like they fall right on the border to below my weight that something crazy happened line. But that may be just like my brain is slow to accept a young new team.
