Stalking is a course of conduct, and you cannot get a conviction for stalking for a stray remark that is tossed off on the internet or anywhere else. The most straightforward way to deal with this case is to say why are we trying to shoehorn a stalking case into a true threat exception? That would be a much more sensible thing to do, right?
