The Importance of Track Timing in Postgres
There is a tool within Postgres called PG test time, or PG track timing. It's very quick and easy to check if yours is like relatively fast. The only place in recent time that I've seen a knock while performing one is when somebody was running Postgres in Docker. There are some people who do recommend turning timing off when you use auto explain for this reason.
