There's such a misunderstanding of the CCP over there in the West. They are selected by meritocracy, by your moral standards. By becoming a party member, you still do your job. It's like at the start of the pandemic, right, when people didn't know what was going on. And now all the Communist members stand up and say this is the time for you to take the baton and do the work.
