How should we understand how the American governmental system even handles these broad military questions? We're not the Soviet Union we don't have like a defense a literal defense industrial complex is run by the government top down. So all of these powers have challenges adjusting to future war. I, in my view, to build up defense, a deterrent capacity in the region and solidified defense ties with Australia is going to put a further strain on it.
