The Stigma of Leprosy
Leprosy attacks the nerves, skin and bones. The visible deformity that it can leave you with is considerable. There are still a lot of laws around the world that actively discriminate against leprosy affected people. And has the pandemic made things tougher? Over the pandemic I spoke to a lot of patients who were living all alone because their relatives couldn't come in during the pandemic times.
