What Is Carda Marina?
The carda marina means map of the sea and it was drawn by a gentleman named Oléus Magnus. He was charged with creating this first highly detailed map of northern Europe. The detail is Ridiculously impressive In in the sense of even today the coastlands that he indicated they hold up pretty well. But throughout the seas he depicted various monsters and strange fish.
