There was a period in which corporate security forces went beyond what we usually think of and were deploying essentially military style units. This did not lead to war audism, but it could have - if the state hadn't reasserted its power. And in that respect, the corporate warlordism of the time reflected the weakness of the state. Now I think that's a crucial difference to what we've got now.
