"It really resonated with me when I started learning about how the brain reads like that's just my my type of scientific mind maybe that just is like wait this makes sense if our brain isn't wired to read we have to teach our brain to read," she said. "I was just seeing my first graders do things that were just shocking and their parents are emailing me saying we were working on this."
