Is Bitcoin a Recording Format?
Derek: I don't think Bitcoin as a recording format is going anywhere. Derek: There are these real constraints to recording information, just pure information on the Bitcoin ledger. And those constraints are now being used by artists as a permanent database by which to record information in the form of art. It's an interesting call to the future of what Bitcoin can be for people who want to innovate and create new things with it. The original Bitcoin meme that happened back in February of 2013 ended up becoming an important image for early Bitcoin community.
