The Importance of Native Language in the Classroom
Using native language in the classroom can be a crutch that we use. In the end though, I think our lesson time is really limited and precious. We don't want to deprive students of extra listening practice or opportunities to speak by dipping in a native language too much. It might be something much more useful for older learners as they understand already.
