Is This a Traumatic Song?
Every single time i listen to it jumps out to me is the religious aspects to the song one could say it's just a metaphor but i think there's something else there. John mayor was a so at the time in 2010 maybe even to some people today he's a songwriting genius that's the way that he was seen and that would have been one of her biggest idols. To have this done to her by somebody who she looked up to is probably the biggest blow I mean she he was a crisis of her faith literally.
