What's Going on in Paris?
The government's hands off approach to the market has led to food prices going up, a scarcity inflation. And as a result, we get thee a kind of pockets of food riots that break out in paris. This also gives rise to two new figures in the parisian popular movement. The radical journal journalist, jacques abert and his allies really began to become influential in the commune. But unfortunately for ll these groups, the revolutionary government at this point is still pretty firmly in the hands of deputies from the cherond.
