Paul: It's indisputable that receiving multiple death threats and harassing emails and nasty phone calls is likely to have a chilling effect on you. But at the same time I think we also don't want to equate that with the attempt to go after your job. They seem just like different things right? We certainly don't think many people are lying but we know of not of professors necessarily butWe know of people who have created hoaxes around things like this.
