A very good progression increment on the bench press or the squat is something like, you know, 2, 2.5, maybe 3% per session. Newer lifters can of course progress much faster, but later on, this is why we can progress so well with these lifts. And I think that at a certain point, it's basically unavoidable if we want to continue progression without a ton of inefficient practices in the gym.
