Bergson thinks that perception is actually less than the object out there it's the object that interests me, minus everything else insignificant. The type of way of thinking is to move in these kind of abstract categories that don't really have the concreteness with which they're endowed linguistically. So on the one hand, as we enjoy talking with with Stephen that movement that speculative movement is in and of itself fascinating for a certain type of philosophy but perhaps on our reading of Bergsonism, one might say that one can only lead to non existent movements that are badly posed problems.
