Ideology in Homeschooling
When we adopt a particular style of homeschool, we are seduced into what I would call ideological purity. We believe that the only way we will get the benefit is if we adopt it perfectly. You come in and you're hungry for ideas but don't know how it should look. So you take the risk, you write your post, and what do you get back? Well, if you don't know the vocabulary yet, you might get back a breakdown of all the ways you communicated your needs That is the most disheartening experience ever.
