In the gospel of manew, matthew says that jesus birth has been fulfilled. The word 'futile' can have a wide range of meanings. This interpretation is not new but doesn't seem to be as common knowledge in saa gospel doctrine class. Matthew believes that this prophecy may have nothing to do with king ahaz and was a direct foretelling of jesus's birth. And i say that because you can see some of these prophecies happening before they were even spoken about by prophets such as emmanuel.
Dr. Jason Combs returns to examine how Isaiah’s prophecies apply to ancient Israel and our day and provide information regarding the scattering and gathering of Israel.
