Madame Tussauds Waxworks
Madame Tussaud's show opened in 1810, during the French Revolution. It was met with crowds and paying customers everywhere she went. Her sons then came over from Paris and joined the family business. After outgrowing its original location, the museum moved to London. Today it attracts around 2.5 million people every year. The museum was bought by a huge entertainment group for a billion pounds back in 2007.
