Even though he kept away from culture war issues, that's still a deeply evangelical idea and core to his preaching. That's one that lots of people outside the evangelical world, I would assume in New York City might still find retrograde. But we're seeing this moment here, this beautiful moment, with all of this affection for Tim pouring out from all corners.
