Is There a Propulsion System on the IR?
The AIAAA is working on building a sensing document that we'll use to promulgate different learnings about what sensors are useful. We don't have IR capabilities in our aircraft, so how can we gather data for this? How can we do it without being intrusive on safety and with airlines' blessings or with the other military's blessings on this? This does not involve any military disinformation. Doesn't involve men in black. What it does involve is aviation safety and it involves the willingness of people to come forward and make sure that we're safe when we're flying the skies.
