How Fishing Boats Interact With Albatrosses

Vee Meskish is a seabed expert from France who loves working with Albatrosses. They're one of the most endangered birds in the world, with many being killed at sea. Vee wanted to find out more about these birds and how they interact with fishing boats. She attached an electronic device called a logger onto an Albatross so it could pick up radar signals as it looks for food on the ocean floor. The logger then uses a satellite connection to send the information back to Henri.
