Reddit founder Steve Huffman and his friend Alexis Olympia Ohanian reached out to each other after the site was shut down in July of 2015. The two men had been friends for nine years before they left Reddit. "We agreed that, hey, we're going to put some effort into this just repairing our friendship," Ahn says.
