The novel is visceral, and the people in it are very real. I wanted to kind of write something that felt authentic to how i'd grown up. The book brings everything together that i hadn't so much seen before in books. They live lives very much moment to moment, yunow on the edge of this town, between the marsh and the town itself. Is as tragic and sad as it is.
