Shorty and the Cowshed

Shorty wakes up in a small farm, one among dozens that surround ise patena. His back is covered with welts because his boss heard shorty call him under his breath. Shorty wanders into the forests and meadows on the town's outskirts. He sees homeless people huddled around tiny bonfires, shivering. They bring back memories of being dragged out of the forest where his people used to live. And it is craving that leads to reincarnation. This vision, this light arose in me.
