The Importance of Inflation
In 2000, the debt to GDP of the US was 56%. In 2022, it was 124%. So this is like saying you at your house have twice as many assets as you did debt in 2000. And now here we are in 2022 and you have 30% or so more debt than you do have assets. That's the one thing that concerns me about the U.S. Tom: More ink has been spilled over the last couple years about inflation than the debt ceiling.
