San Diego state university student David elizando came up with an idea to form a craft whisky distilling business as a project for his fall 20 18 managerial marketing class. Eli srits eli sando, eli sandoa cousin, which is another san diego state university alumni, rhine espinoza, they began exploring how they could turn their concepts into a business. The cousins came up with the name first light, and they got that during an early morning surf lesson at san diego's ocean beach. And currently, first light coffee whisky is available for purchase on line and a few local liquor retail establishments, but that will eventually change soon.
