What's Going on With This Accident?
The first officer of this flight had been the first officer on another flight where they were flying the president. On that other flight, the president wanted to divert the flight to land in a war zone at a dangerous airport. The pilot of that other flight years before, had said, no, we're not landing there. That's too dangerous. And that captin, he was never fired or anything, he just never got scheduled to fly again.
