The Motivation of Scientists

Scientists are people, which means they're motivated by the same things people are motivated by. Sometimes pettiness and sometimes glamour. Scientists want to be right. They gain nothing by a worldwide conspiracy. I don't actually care about being part of the club. I just want to know the truth.
