CHAPTER

The Dragon Language by Madeline Palmer

The language was created by Madeline Palmer and she has this conceit in it that she is writing this grammar from the notes of a linguist. So, when you are reading the examples in this grammar, the only sounds that are voiced are the vowels that are marked with an acute accent. The physiology of dragons is different and it makes it harder for them to voice consonants so they have voiced vowels. It does read like fiction at times. And I think that may be sort of the direction that she was taking.
