I was in the role of acting dean at Syracuse, and this role came up at Wisconsin La Crosse. And I thought, well, this would be an interesting opportunity. So that summer we were taking our children on a tour of the family trip to Washington, D.C. Condoleezza Rice was on a list of top 30 academic people under the age of 40 to watch. Nancy Cable is now head of the Keenan Trust in Chapel Hill. The Elon job just aligned with my value, so perfectly well.
