The Different Types of Management

I'm guessing there are significant numbers of accomplished, well-educated, very bright leaders of top companies who don't consider your way of thinking. I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that people are getting rewarded for near-term success. You cannot build an economy and you cannot build a really stable company on a couple of quarters of earnings. What you really need to be thinking about is what's the five-year, 10-year perspective look like? It's not clear. Thinking about the future is hard. Especially in the early stages,. A lot of people are not skilled at operating in those very murky and ambiguous circumstances.
