What Is God Doing in Genesis?

Many of us grew up with stories from the old testament used more as examples to not be like them, or to be like them. So this very much making the stories they end up in kind of moral lessons. I know that you grew up in a very sound church and were taught the bible with this gospel centred focus. How would you encourage them to become more gospel centered in the teaching of genesis? One thing i always want to say is develop the habit of asking the question, what is this passage teaching me about god? The noah story is a terrifying story. It's uch a wrathful god. We've never any wives on the whole earth because of sin, which
