As a smaller employer, that's where yeu need to focus on culture. As pol graham says of my combinator, large companies cannot afford to work on things that don't scale. What this means is focus on very customersess process of interviewing the candidate and then on boarding the candidate. This potentially could mean finding out, what are the candidates hod buttons that are non monetary and completely customize.
