Is There a Speedy Trial Concern in the D.C. Jail?
A number of judges have expressed some concern, especially for incarcerated defendants, about delays in the case. It hasn't just been republican appointed judges who have brought up that issue. The january sixth cases are being used as a way to raise wareness about conditions at the d c jail. A few judges have noted the the interesting turn of events, a that have ultimately put folks on the same side who wouldn't normally be there.
