The Intoxicated Parasites in Cats
The parasite can pose serious dangers foetus. In about one third to half of the cases where it's contracted for the first time during pregnancy, that infection can be transmitted to the developing foetus. It can cause very severe complications, anywhere from blindness to inflammation of the brain and developmental issues with those organs. There are real risks to cat owners who are uncompromised or pregnant.
