Is It a Good Idea to Run Out of the L3?

We don't think we would necessarily want to do that. A gig is a lot for L3 cash. It's not a lot for sort of running you know large scale server applications with large memory footprints. You know it's an intriguing idea like what would happen if you just had a machine with no RAM and just execute at cash sounds kind of cool. But I don't think that that would be reasonable for a server class system. Still though the ratio of cores to memory is pretty far.
