Is Love and Dignity the Basis for Universal Morality?
The idea that there's just a sort of easy moralizing humans together, begins to be problematized. And at the same time, may be any idea of moral absolutes and moral certainties. i don't think the humans is capable of resolving moral questions in the way that it was until fairly recently. The contemporary moment of climate change creates a question about the human as the universal ethical signifier of progress. This could lead to morality that would be of value to all things on this planet, not just our own benefit.
