What Is the Story of the Alzabari Guy?
Alzabari was born in egypt to a relatively wealthy family. Went into medicine, but then got involved in opposition islamism and became more extreme while he was held in jail. Spent the next decade or two moving around, being involved in fighting this struggle. Eventually ended up in afghanistan and worked with asama bin laden at the creation of alcide. Then after 9 11, he flees,. like binladen, we think, to the pakistan afghanistan border area, where it's thought he's been for much of the last 20 or so years. And then suddenly, there he is in carbell.
