A lot of the global work worke for studies would say roughly about 70 % of leaders are not living in the moment because they're enot so busy. So i think a lot of us do feel quite isolated and perhaps unproductive and disengaged at times. But there are tools that can help us. And this is the introduction of the book. Therare kind of mind sets, for example, we are introducing that are not dominant in the work place. We are also introducing some core inner qualities that are available to us, to all of us by birth, and what it means to work with them.

Control is the opposite of caring. And a caring mindset is one of the most important things a leader can possess. In a caring workplace, workers experience lower absenteeism, less burnout and more productive teamwork.

“When we carry a mindset of control, we tend to shrink in our capacity, because we are likely to disconnect from our emotions, so we avoid what's happening with us and what may be happening with other people. There's really not a lot of room for us to express something beyond the cognitive.” ~ Sesil Pir.
