Why Cricket Is a Ludicrous Sport

England could have tried to bowl their overs quickly and not bold as well. There are other reasons why the game has slowed down, including DRS reviews that we didn't have a number of years ago. All of these things do not get factored in. They slow the game down more than they used to. Maybe we just need a little bit of a rethink of how much time we add on to the end of the day to get the overs in. But I don't think that is the magic pill that solves pace of play or getting more results in cricket. The required minimum could be adjusted to suit the era.
