Kant's Critical Rationalism

Kant believed that we must not accept the command of an authority, however exalted, as the basis of ethics. Popper is giving Kant quite an amount of credit here in saying, well, basically, he got critical rationalism. Except for the fact that Newton's theories of physics were so wonderfully successful. We have the truth about physical laws because no one could find an error.
