Josh Schwartz: It's a funny time in Hollywood. We ran into each other on the picket line last week or the week before. The show premiered two weeks ago and out of solidarity with our guild, we did not attend our premiere. But because we've been friends for close to 20 years now, we felt like this was a safe space to talk. City on Fire is based on the novel by Garth Risk Halberg.
