What Makes a Good Sock?
A really good sock is one that can communicate effectively and escalate to the right individuals at the right time. Every organization's different and their tolerance for having inhouse sock versus out sor so its really a decision on the culture of the organization. For me specifically, i like a hybrid approach. It's really difficult to always have a fully stocked sock and insure that you can keep the individuals fully motivated proper career paths at any given time.
