The Importance of Gradual Return to Work

The right frontal hemorrhage was due to a ruptured AVM, but there were also acute infarix involving the left frontal lobe and the left basal ganglia that were noted on imaging as well. These days, she says she's doing okay in terms of her psychological health, but going back to work can be an adjustment. A control supervascular risk factor is for sure hypertension, hyperlipidemia. She's going to be at high risk of small vessel disease and or another stroke, which we wouldn't want.
