Should I Borrow Against My Equity?
When you're the owner of your own business, as she is, there's no upward cap on what she might make. She does not have the income security of a person with a very stable W2 job like a tenured professor. The justification for putting her assets at risk has a much higher threshold than the one that I can really see in her situation.
