The Star Child and Saturn's Golden Age - A Review
Tupic alludes to silical time throughout the film. Saturn is a god of time, but silical time only began in theory after saturn's golden age. The camera continuously keeps its distance from the characters, giving the sense that they are being watched from afar. If cubic is implying that non human intelligence is observing the proceedings of the film, it seems to have the ability to appear and reappear along the time line at will.
